"Dynamite" Dick Clifton

This is the same town as one of the levels included with Outlaws, but I'm not quite sure which one it is. This one has a fair amount of guys (60-80) but not that much gold, I collected only around 4 gold items. To start off with, go left to descend from your starting location. There will be lots of guys in ledges, along with items such as a scope and medical bags. I will not go through them: it's up to you to get them.

After you finish the path, you'll see a town, but don't enter it. I'll arbitrarily call your location the south part of town. The north part is just across. The west part is on the left, and the east is on the right. You should be between a torn down building (right) and a hotel type building on the left. Go to the back of the hotel building and break the window to enter. Go up the stairs on the right and keep walking until you get to a bedroom. Walk out and collect the dynamite. Use the TNT on the crack inside the bedroom. You'll get a sack of gold. Exit to where you just were (between the two buildings). This time, go right, past the torn down, into a building with lots of boxes. There is an opening near a corner, enter it and descend the stairs.

You'll be in a tunnel. At the first fork, turn right. Keep walking where you'll eventually be at a set of stairs. Go up them to be in a room with more boxes. Turn right to go to a new room and get the steel key. Go back to the hotel, but don't go up the stairs. Open the door and press the switch. Go west to the middle building. Go up the stairs on the left, walk forward, then up another set of stairs. Walk behind a box to collect some dynamite. Further, there is a crowbar on top of a box. Get the crowbar. There is a box (its near the crowbar) with a crack on the side. Throw dynamite and collect your loot: sack of gold, elixir, and a sawed off.

Exit the building and go north to the building directly opposite of the torn down building. Go up the stairs to face a door. Use the crowbar and get the iron key. Exit the building. Looking at the torn down, turn right and walk until you reach the wall (basically, go west). Turn left and you will see a "danger" sign. Open the door to the building and go forward in the building until you see a set of stairs. Go up the stairs, then up another set. Press the switch on the second level. Turn around and you should see a room with a switch in it. Descend from the second level and press the switch. Again, turn around. This time, another "danger" sign has risen. Enter and go down the stairs. Kill the spiders and take the left route, where you'll eventually receive the brass key. If you want gold, dive down to the bottom to get a gold bar. Go back to the fork and take the right route. You'll again be at another fork; this time take the left route for a gold bar.

Now, walk east past the buildings, where you'll encounter a big, wooden door. Open the door and enter the building, which I think is a casino (there is a card table in the middle of it). Kill off the guys and walk underneath of the bar. Find the button and push it. Now go under the second story (where its kind of dark) and go in the newly opened door. It's a secret area!

Go up the stairs. Be careful - there are lots of civilians along with criminals. There is a good side: for a series of doors (left and right), only one room contains an outlaw. I'm not sure, but I think the pattern of the rooms is: L, R, L. All of the rooms contain civilians, so be careful. The end left room has a medical bag. Go to the end of the hallway, where the room has a medical bag and some dynamite. Go out of the window and down the stairs. Walk around the building where you see a cellar. SAVE you game now.

Descend into the cellar. The boss, Dick Clifton, is just up ahead. There is a little room with knives, off to the left. If you plan to capture him, good luck. Its a lot easier just to kill him. The best method is to find a secure spot, aim up, strafe either left or right, fire 1 or 2 rounds, then run to another hiding spot. If you see dynamite, run: the fuse isn't that long. The best way to capture him is to directly approach him. Near the entrance, you should see a slanted board over a box. Run onto that and collect the knives. One stab or punch should take care of him. If you don't want to do that, you can hide, run, fire, hide, etc. You might want to experiment on your own. If you're throwing knives, he can take multiple knives to the body: around 4 or 5! Once he's done, just walk back to the city, past the torn down, turn left, and back up the trail!

This is a very sketchy walkthrough. I have not included all of the secrets (for some reason, my computer doesn't display how many secrets, e.g. 1 of 4). I didn't cover anything related to the ledges around town. If you're able to or need the stuff, hop around on the ledges to get things. To compare yourself with me, I got 12 gold, 74 kills, 0 wounds, 1000 bounty, and a level score of 4050.
